Silicon microelectronics has been ruled for over thirty years by the miniaturization of characteristic dimensions of CMOS components. This miniaturization is envisaged to the dimensions of the order of ten nanometers. LTM activity is now largely mobilized around the basic technologies that directly contribute to the miniaturization of micro and nano electronic devices and the introduction of new materials in nanoelectronics channels.
